Hello there! My name is Ms. Kelli Castillo and I grew up in Overland Park, KS. I have a daughter at Ezra Elementary in 3rd grade. We love to go camping and spend most of our time in the pools around town. We love to eat pizza and watch movies, go for bike rides, cook meals, and do lots of science and art projects. If we are not in Omaha, we go back to my home town and spend time at my dad's lake house boating and tubing. 

I currently have a brother who lives in Australia with my beautiful niece and two nephews and I have a sister who lives in Houston.  We spend lots of time in Houston as my sister and her husband both work for NASA.  If you ever make a trip down there, I have all the details and places to go. 

I graduated from Pittsburg State University in 2008 and earned my Bachelor of Science in Communication with a minor in Sociology. I earned my Masters of Art in Teaching at College of Saint Mary in May 2020. I completed my student teaching semester during Spring 2019 at Ezra Elementary. I have previously been a substitute teacher, and I am currently in my 5th year of teaching here at Morton. Getting to see the lightbulbs go off with your kiddos each day lights up my heart.  Keep a watch out for those big growths throughout the year.  They are coming!
