The first 9 weeks they will take Psychology. (5 credits and fulfills the Human Resources graduation requirement)
The second 9 weeks with will take Advanced Placement Psychology. (5 credits; It will count as an elective)
They will have these two classes back to back which will prepare them for the AP exam at the end of the school year.
ALL students are expected to take the exam. It is composed of questions and content from BOTH psychology and AP psychology.
The AP exam consisted of 2 parts:
Part 1: 100 multiple choice questions which you have 70 minutes to complete.
Part 2: Two Free Response Questions (FRQs) which you have a total of 45 minutes to complete.
Students will need to pass the AP exam with a score that is acceptable for the college they plan to attend in order to earn college credit.
