Concert Bands

Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble are the nucleus of the entire band program. Auditions are held prior to winter break to place each student in the appropriate group according to ability and instrumentation. The concert bands will begin rehearsing at the end of the Marching Band season. Representative literature for the contemporary concert band is prepared and presented at three or more concerts each year, including contests as recommended.

Wind Ensemble

This is a co-curricular course for select advanced students who play a band instrument and have an interest in performing advanced music literature.  Emphasis will be placed on advanced instrumental skills, rehearsal techniques, music literacy, and performance practice. 

Symphonic Band

This is a co-curricular course for select students who play a band instrument. Emphasis will be placed on intermediate instrumental skills, rehearsal techniques, music literacy, and performance practice. 

Concert Band

This is a co-curricular course for select students who play a band instrument. Emphasis will be placed on developing instrumental skills, rehearsal techniques, music literacy, and performance practice.
