Hello 6th graders! Welcome to Ancient Civilizations. This pages is to help you understand more about Google Classroom and how we will be using it this year. I hope this page will help you to understand :
How to use the To-Do list to make sure all of your assignments are done.
How to look for and understand feedback on your assignments.
How to interpret my labels for assignments and materials in Google Classroom.
The To-Do list will give you a list of all of your homework for all of your classes.
You can find it in the top left hand corner of your Google Classroom page.
Click on the assignments to open them and work on them.
Make sure you remember to click TURN IN when you are finished.
If you need to make changes to an assignment, remember to click UNSUBMIT so you can edit it again. When finished, you will need to click TURN IN again.
Some assignments have rubrics in Google Classroom.
The rubric categories will tell you the assignment requirements and how many points each requirement is worth.
Once I grade it, you will see the total points you received at the top of the rubric.
Check the categories underneath to see if you missed any requirements.
I may send you a private comment. It will be below the grading rubric.
Click on the slide to see the comment. If you click the comment, it will show you what part the comment is for.
You may also see a Bitmoji sticker!
