Literacy Lab

Description: This course will support students with essential reading skills through targeted instruction in vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing in response to reading. Short stories, novel excerpts, articles, and mini research tasks establish the structure of the course, with the goal of building proficient and independent readers as students move through middle school.
