About the DDRC
The DDRC (Disney Dolphin Run Club) started in the spring of 2024. The goal of the club to foster a love of running, while also building leadership skills in and out of the home, school, and community settings. The foundation of the run club is built upon the incredible support and platform of Marathon Kids Youth Running Program and their sponsors.
Student Runners must meet and uphold the 3 pillars of the club.
Attendance - Runners must "Show Up" for school and the DDRC on time ready to learn and grow.
Grades - Runners must "Work Hard" in school to give their best in all subject areas. This means making learning and classwork a priority and putting forth their best effort on homework, projects, and assessments. Number grade requirements are solely based on the students potential.
Behavior - Runners must always be ready to "Change Lives" by showing leadership, kindness, and mental grit at home, in school, at run club, and in the community.

Meet the Coaches
Running is my clarity and my adventure. I began running in middle school. I was a Missouri State Track Champion and ran a semester at Iowa Western Community College. I currently run about 50 miles a week with several run clubs around Omaha. I have ran LOTS of events (5K, 10K, half marathons) all over the United States. I have paced full marathons and ultras and completed the Chicago Marathon in the fall of 2024.
I'm so excited to be part of the DDRC running community! I love participating in 5Ks, and my favorite event is the Donate Life Walk. I run to honor my amazing daughter, Abby, and her incredible organ donor. I can't wait to share running adventures with you and maybe even see you at a race!
I started my running journey with Girls on the Run club when I was in elementary school! Then I tried cross country in middle school and ran long distance track in high school. In college I ran my first half marathon and this May will be my 4th one! I love how good I feel when I run.
Running is a big part of who I am and has taught me so much! I competed in cross country and track for 4 years in college. I absolutely loved being part of a team that pushed and encouraged each other to be our best. I have also found some of my best friends through running! I’ve raced in lots of 5Ks, 10Ks and four half-marathons. Let’s go FINS! :)
I joined the cross country team when I was in middle school, and have loved running ever since! I still enjoy running long distances and hiking when I have the chance, but most days I have just enough time to go for a walk through the neighborhood with my family and our dog. I am so excited to be joining Disney's running club this year!
I started my running journey when I was young, as I played lots of sports growing up! I would always participate in the short 5k's that my school would host including Girls on the Run, Pumpkin Run, Mayor's Run, etc. In college, my sorority would always host a 5K as a fundraiser, and I would always run that! I even finished first place one of the years! Running was something that I found relaxing and peaceful for myself! I love getting to put my airpods in, and to escape on a run! I also love hiking trails and mountains and running has helped build my endurance to fully enjoy them without getting tired easily! I can't wait to see what a season of DDRC will bring for the students at our school!
In high school, I played five sports. After high school, I coached volleyball, softball, and track. I also love to participate in fun runs in my free time! I am very excited to be apart of a team again! Go FINS!
I started running in middle school and continued through high school, where I even medaled at state with my relay team. Despite undergoing three major knee surgeries in high school and being advised not to run again, I refused to give up. Running has taught me the power of perseverance and the importance of stepping outside my comfort zone. Recently, I just completed two half marathons! Now, I'm excited to help kids believe in themselves because running meets everyone where they're at and proves they're capable of more than they think -- no matter what others might say!
