RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS
RETURNING TIGERS
Parent/Guardians with students returning to the Moss Point School District for the 2024-2025 school year will need to attend a residency verification session with two (2) proofs of residency. If one of those proofs of residency is not a Driver's License, you must show valid identification as the parent/guardian of the student(s). Please choose one of the verification sessions listed below. You are not required to choose the session at your student's school, you may attend any session convenient for you. Please complete online registration prior to showing proofs of residency.

Returning Student Residency Verification Sessions 5pm-7pm
June 24, 2024 at Kreole Elementary
June 25, 2024 at Escatawpa Elementary
June 26, 2024 at Magnolia Middle School
June 27, 2024 at Moss Point High School
NEW TIGERS
***NEW Student Online Registration will not be open until JUNE 1, 2024***
Parent/Guardians with students new to the Moss Point School District for the 2024-2025 school year will need to attend a NEW Student Registration session. Online registration can be completed prior to attending or assistance with completing online registration will be available at the sessions. During online registration you will be asked to upload pictures of the following documents for each student:
Birth Certificate
Immunization Form 121
Social Security Card
Please also bring two (2) proofs of residency (A list of accepted documents can be found at the bottom of the page) to one of the following sessions:

PROOFS OF RESIDENCY MAY BE ANY TWO (2) OF THE FOLLOWING:
Utility bills (Gas, Electric, Water) No phone bills accepted. Must be current within 30 days of verification date AND not indicate a cut off date. Please upload a picture of the entire bill and not the envelope.
Mortgage documents or property deed
Current apartment or home lease
Homestead Exemption Form
Driver's license (not expired)
Voter precinct identification if address is shown
Automobile registration (current year)
Personal visit by a designated school district official
Any other documentation that will objectively and unequivocally establish that the parent or guardian resides within the school district.
In the case of a student living with a legal guardian who is a resident of the school district a Certified copy of filed petition for guardianship will be required in addition to 2 proofs of residency.
