Mini-Mounties at the DLC

The DLC Mini-Mounties site is located within the district-owned MCPK building and is home to a close-knit team of teachers, teaching assistants, paraprofessionals, and support staff who work together every day to create a safe, joyful, and nurturing learning environment. Our team is committed to helping each child grow, learn, and reach their personal best.

DLC proudly houses three Mini-Mounties classrooms and one Preschool Disabilities (PSD) classroom, providing inclusive learning opportunities that support the diverse needs of our students.

Our classrooms use the Tools of the Mind curriculum, meet ECERS-3 standards for high-quality preschool, and actively participate in Grow NJ Kids, New Jersey’s quality rating system for early childhood programs. Throughout the year, we host a variety of family events and classroom activities, because we believe that strong home–school connections are essential for our youngest learners’ success.

The DLC is led by Ms. Perez, the district’s Director of Early Childhood Education & Grants, who oversees all Mini-Mounties programs and proudly serves as the building administrator.
