Unit 1: Students are reviewing family vocabulary while focusing on high-frequency verbs including "Este es" (this is) and "Hay" (there is/are).
Students each colored or drew a robot (which went along with a simple story we read in Spanish!) and then they were assembled into families to describe relationships.
Unit 2: Students learned vocabulary words including "corre" (runs) and "grita" (shouts) while listening to the story of "La galleta".
Students made their own gingerbread people out of construction paper and used them while the story was told!
Unit 3: Students reviewed previously-learned vocabulary, including descriptive words and colors while designing monsters!
They then learned a new word, "canta" (sings), through a story about Chocolate. We got to practice our hand game- see the video below!
