Certificate of Global Competence.

Over the four years of high school, Global Scholar candidates must complete:
Coursework
4 consecutive years (grades 9-12) of the same World Language - French, Spanish or German
4 credits in courses with a strong global dimension (in two different curricular areas)
Cultural Literacy (Literature/Art/Music)
4 books with international/cultural perspectives (read and complete reflection; fiction or non-fiction)
4 films/music performances/art exhibitions (view/attend and complete reflection)
Global Citizenship (Participation in School-Wide Global or Extra-Curricular Activities)
4 unique experiences (Spanish Honor Society, Language Day, host an exchange student, etc.)
Service Project
1 global public service project involving at least 20 hours of work (related to one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals)
