Predicting precipitates using solubility rules
Some combinations of aqueous reactants result in the formation of a solid precipitate as a product. However, some combinations will not produce such a product. It is useful to be able to predict when a precipitate will occur in a reaction. To do so, you can use a set of guidelines called the solubility rules. Use this reading to learn how to apply the solubility rules.

Solubility Rules and How To Use the Table
So Solubility can be difficult if you don't know how to properly use a solubility table! In this video I go over all of the solubility rules plus we do a bunch of examples predicting the solubility of ionic compounds whether they are soluble or insoluble. Chemistry doesn't have to be so confusing, it can actually make sense! Yay to less stressful nights!
