Thunderbolt Academy offers a well-rounded intramural program to encourage enthusiastic and fair participation by all students. This is accomplished by utilizing games which may be unfamiliar to the students and by incorporating a draft system to pick evenly matched teams for each sport. By using a game that is unfamiliar, every student starts at the same ability level; thereby, every student can contribute to the game. By using a random draft system, each team is composed of a cross section of athletic ability - one team cannot dominate play and all games are competitive. After the end of each season, the championship team is recognized at a Sports Awards Ceremony.
