Standard: 5.17
ALCOS- Science (Design solutions, test, and revise a process for cleaning a polluted environment (e.g., simulating an oil spill in the ocean or a flood in a city and creating a solution for containment and/or cleanup)
Objective:
Students will identify, model, and analyze solutions to reduce human impact on Earth.
Project Overview:
Students were able to learn about the positive and negative impact that humans have on Earth. While learning about human impact students had to brainstorm and research some solutions to solve the way how humans negatively impact or pollute the Earth's Oceans. Students were randomly paired in groups where they assigned jobs, collaborated to research, design a prototype, and build their project prototype.
