After exposure to books, articles, digital presentations, and songs about the topic, students were presented with a choice board that displayed options on ways they could showcase their understanding. Students determined if they wanted to work individually or collaboratively, and selected the way they wanted to share knowledge. Students were provided with a checklist of items that had to be included but were also encouraged to be creative.
