MPS Dual Enrollment Programs Continue to Soar
The Montgomery Public Schools Dual Enrollment Program is thriving and has expanded significantly, now encompassing four distinct pathways designed to meet the diverse interests and career aspirations of our students. Programs include:
MPS Dual Enrollment
MPS Dual Enrollment for Dual Credit
MPS Accelerated Academic Summer Academy
MPS Early College
Through strong partnerships with our seven colleges and universities, we provide a robust array of opportunities that allow students to earn college credits while still in high school. The benefits of dual enrollment are numerous; students gain invaluable exposure to college-level coursework, enhance their academic skills, and reduce future college costs by accumulating credits early. These programs not only prepare students for higher education but also equip them with the knowledge and experience necessary for successful careers. We are proud of this growth and excited to see how our dual enrollment initiatives continue to elevate the educational journey for our students. For more information on our Dual Enrollment Program, please click here.
There has been a steady increase in MPS Dual Enrollment programs since the 2019-2020 school year. Currently, there are 300+ students who participate in at least one of the four MPS DE programs.
