During this part of your project, you have 3 distinct tasks:
Think about a problem or need in your community that interests you, and set a goal to help solve it.
Determine what you already know that could help with this project and what specific knowledge you have that relates to it. Also, determine the skills you'll need to do well.
Show your ability to search for and find information while also citing the sources you use to help with your project.
Reading these for the first time might feel a bit much, but there are several helpful systems in place to support you as move through the project.
The biggest help to you throughout this process is your project supervisor. They will be here to guide you throughout the whole project.
Second would be your process journal prompts. The process journal is exactly what it sounds like--a journal where you record the process you went through along the way.
On the "Resources" tab, you will find a lot of information about the process journal. There is a whole document of prompts to help you determine the next step in your project. Also, don't forget to check out the "Helpful Links" page for so many resources in one place.
