If you or another person is experiencing a mental health crisis, call the Hennepin County Crisis Line (if outside of Hennepin County, call 988). Support is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. A COPE mobile crisis team is available to come to your home, school, or other public place to help calm the situation and help you decide what to do next. Bilingual support available.

There are several levels of care for mental health, both in the type of frequency of care. We have compiled a list of organizations that we are aware of that offer various support, assessments, and treatments to make it easier for families to navigate finding mental health resources for their child. Your pediatrician may also be a good resource for recommendations or direct referrals.
Please note that services through these organizations are not required by MPS. The Whittier social work team is always happy to connect to discuss strategies to support your child in the school setting!
