U of M DBI-TLC Early Writing Project

Are you a special education or intervention teacher who works with students in Grades 1-3 who struggle to write? Interested in gaining evidenced-based resources and support through a research study? Over the last several years, teachers in MPS teamed with U of M researchers to create and pilot a new PD system, with results showing that students whose teachers participated in the PD substantially improved their writing skills compared to students whose teachers did not receive PD. The Data-Based Instruction in Early Writing Project is welcoming teacher participants for the 2018-2019 school year and we hope you can join us.
