There is a place for everyone in the Minneapolis South High Music Program. With a supportive administration, staff, and families, students have the opportunity to explore multiple levels of band, orchestra, choir, and modern music, as well as semester-long classes in piano, electronic music lab, songwriting, and vocal music studio. South is proud to offer beginning levels in several of these arts-academic areas that require no audition or placement process. 

South Music strives to provide safe and creative spaces for students to express themselves through music and to connect with others in community.
