Kids Gardening offers grant opportunities to assist new and existing youth garden programs across the nation.
Whole Kids - Garden Grant Program- Current application closes March 5, 2025
A national program, Whole Kids' Garden Grant Program offers a number of grants to support new and existing edible garden programs. Garden Grant program provides a $3,500 monetary grant to support a new or existing edible educational garden located at a K–12 School in the U.S. or Canada.
*We are so excited to announce that this year, Newman’s Own Foundation will offer an additional monetary grant to select U.S. recipients that opt in via our Garden Grant application. If selected, this would be in addition to the Whole Kids’ $3,500 award. Learn more in our application!
The 2026 Bee Grant application will open in September 2025, and notifications will be made in December 2025.
Fruit Tree Planting Foundation Orchard
Award Amount: Donation of fruit trees and shrubs, equipment, on-site orchard design expertise and oversight, horticultural workshops, and aftercare training and manuals
Our orchard donations are available for recipients who pledge to care for their trees and utilize them for a charitable purpose. Orchards are donated where the harvest will best serve communities for generations, at places such as community gardens, public schools, city/state parks, low-income neighborhoods, Native American reservations, international hunger relief sites, and animal sanctuaries.

Award Amount: $250 to $1k
K4C helps young citizen leaders execute and magnify their initiatives to help repair our world. Students 18 years of age and under may apply for funds between $250 and $1,000 to complete service projects in their communities throughout the United States. Applications can be submitted at any time but are reviewed quarterly following these deadlines: January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st.

Award Amount: 50%+ profit on every sale
