My name is Krista Schimelpfenig, and I am also known as Ms. S.  I provide special education services and case management for 12th graders. I also co-teach in English 12 and College Prep and Statistics (CPAS).

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree at Gustavus Adolphus College in Elementary Education teaching (K-6).  I taught as an elementary school teacher, and then went to graduate school at Augsburg University for special education (K-12).  I have been teaching special education in Minneapolis since 2008. I taught middle school at Riverbend, and now enjoy teaching high school at North. 

I am happy to be part of the Polar Family! I am proud of the students' hard work and achievements. I look forward to watching each student cross the stage at graduation!
