History is the study of the past and its significance to the present.  In US History we will explore the history of our country from its first inhabitants till current events in order to better understand the America we live in today. The issues we have in America today have been brewing for 100’s of years and to fully understand America today one must understand our past from multiple perspectives.  Students will be required to complete a variety of activities during this year-long course, including classroom assignments, group work, discussions, essays and projects. We will continually look at how the history of the United States has impacted and continues to impact each of us today.
