The following guides share common steps related to (1) building lists, (2) gathering materials, (3) meeting with counselor, (4) submitting applications, and (5) financial planning, they are different in their focus on career-specific and college-specific steps. The career guide includes practical steps for entering the workforce, while the college guide goes into the aspects for college applications.

Research and List Building

You can use Xello and other tools to research and build lists of potential future opportunities.

Gather Materials

Create/collect essential documents such as resumes and school records. You many need to ask for references and write materials like essays for college applications.

Meet with Counselor

ALL students should have a Senior Meeting: You meet with your school counselor to review their future plans and discuss applications.

💼 Workforce

Joining the workforce directly after high school allows individuals to gain real-world experience, develop practical skills, and start earning income. It's a hands-on approach to learning and can lead to career advancement.

📜 Career Certificate

Pursuing a career certificate provides specialized training in a specific field. It's a focused and efficient way to gain skills needed for particular jobs, making individuals more competitive in the workforce.

🤝 Apprenticeships

🏫 College
