In order for outside research to benefit the Minneapolis Public Schools community, we encourage researchers and evaluators to develop collaborative projects with teachers, departments, and schools. As part of this approach, MPS asks that researchers plan enough time to develop a project, secure necessary school or department letters of support, have project reviewed by co-sponsor, and apply.

Federally Funded Research Projects
Researchers working on federally funded projects (Census, Department of Education, Workforce, etc) should reach out to the REA Department for a conversation before applying or reaching out to schools.
