Annie Loch is a Mental Health Support Specialist. Before joining the team, Annie worked as an English and special education teacher at both the middle and high school level. Most recently, she was a school social worker for Minneapolis Public Schools. She received her BA from Carleton College and went on to get her Masters in Social Work at the University of Minnesota. She has worked with youth and their development for over twenty years.


Annie believes in using research-based best practices and brings this belief to her work. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Yoga Calm, and is a Circle Leader. As a Clinical Social Worker, Annie works from a strengths-based model that draws knowledge and power from a student’s culture, spirituality, community and family. Annie loves working collaboratively with children and families and cares about their well-being. She is committed to diversity, inclusion, equity and anti-racism.
