Investigating Careers Course:
All 10th grade students will take a course during their sophomore year called Investigating Careers. This course helps students to explore different career pathways, learn about colleges, the trades, and much more! It's a great opportunity for students to start thinking about how their skills and interests can help fit into a career that they love.
Career & Technical Education (CTE):
Minneapolis Public Schools have created career and technical education coursework and pathways for students. These programs are currently happening online, Roosevelt High School, Edison High School, and North Tech. Many of these courses offer college credit in addition to high school credit. Your school counselor can help you learn more and sign you up!
Genesys Works:
Each year, a few of our incredible students participate in an internship through Genesys Works. Genesys Works is dedicated to empowering young people to thrive in life. Their mission is to provide pathways to career success for high school students in underserved communities through skills training, meaningful work experiences, and impactful relationships.
