When we get into writing papers and essays, we'll always be using MLA (Modern Language Association) format for our papers.
General guidelines can be found at the OWL Purdue website, but I'll list a few of them here for quick reference.
- Double Spaces
- 12 pt. font, Times New Roman
- Only one space after punctuation and no extra spacing between paragraphs (only hit enter once)
- Indent the beginning of each paragraph using the "Tab" key
- Include in the top left corner your name, instructor's name, class, and date
- Include a header in the top right with your last name and page number
