About me

A little about me: I graduated from St. Cloud State University with my Bachelors in Communication Arts and Literature. I am currently in the midst of getting my master's degree at Concordia University focusing on Trauma and Resilience in the classroom, and I couldn't be more excited!

Before coming to Southwest, I worked as an SEA at FAIR Crystal, followed by 2 years teaching 5th grade in North Minneapolis. Since 2013, I have had the privilege to be a part of the Southwest community.

For the more personal information, I have two crazy, energetic, and inquisitive children with my partner. I adore my family and do my best to make sure they are on the top of my priority list. We also have a very large elderly cat named Sasha and a dog named Juno Lightning Bolt. I prefer dark chocolate, have a solid love for caffeine, mostly watch kids shows (not by choice), and think that donuts are one of the most beautiful creations out there.

Although this year will once again be strange, I look forward to getting to know all of you!
