State Testing Requirements

MPS students graduating between 2001 and 2016 need to pass state exams to earn their high school diploma.

Students need to earn a passing score in the MBST or GRAD Reading, Writing, and Math exams. Students missing one or more of these tests have a few options to meet this requirement:

ACCUPLACER

Accuplacer Reading, Writing, and Math scores can fill the testing requirement. There is no minimum score, students must simply attempt the test.

ACT

Students who have taken the ACT can submit their official score report to fill the testing requirement. There is no minimum score, but students must have completed the writing component for the score to fill all 3 exam requirements.
