What is the State Diploma Program?
This is a new, competency-based high school diploma program authorized by the Minnesota Department of Education. State Diploma requirements can be filled by high school credits, post-secondary classes, work experience, and test scores. Unlike the GED, students in the State Diploma program receive a diploma upon completion.
General Requirements
Age 21+, not eligible for K-12 services
Student scores at least a 6 on TABE Reading (and St. Paul ONLY - 6 on TABE Math)

Find a program close to where you live or that works with your schedule.
Schedule an intake appointment with the school.
Collect as much of this information as you can to bring with you:
High School Transcript(s)
Any College Transcript(s)
Standardized Test Scores (Accuplacer, GED, MCA, MNBST, TOEFL, ACT, etc.)
Resume
Vocational Training Program Completions or Certificates
Letters of Recommendation, Awards, or Certificates from Employers
Any Professional Certifications or Licenses
