If you need an extension on an assignment, please schedule an appointment to visit my office during office hours (either in person or on Zoom). During this meeting, we can discuss time management and course material to find a solution. While I can't guarantee extensions for all assignments, I will do my best to accommodate you when possible.
Please note that exams and quizzes can only be made up in cases of extenuating circumstances. If you need to make up an exam or quiz, arrange an office hours meeting with me to discuss your situation.
Late submissions are subject to a 10% deduction per day for all other assignments up to a maximum of 10 days. After 10 days, the assignment will receive a zero.
Points you receive for graded activities will be posted to the Canvas Grade Book. Click Grades from the Course Navigation menu at the left of the Canvas course home page to see your grades.
Your instructor will update the online grades each time a grading session has been complete—typically within 3-5 days of the due date of an activity. You will see a visual indication of new grades posted on your Canvas home page under the link to this course.
Final grades assigned for this course will be based on the percentage of total points earned and are assigned as follows:
