HASA leadership is a 3-year commitment: candidates serve first as Vice President, then President, then Past President.
Erin Mariathasan
Erin and her husband, Marion (originally from Sri Lanka, hence the tricky last name) have two children – daughter Quinn (4th grade) and son Mikey (2nd grade), who both attended the MPB ELC as well.
Erin grew up in Denver and attended Catholic schools (Blessed Sacrament and Mullen), then went to University of Kansas for undergrad, and University of Denver for her MBA. She worked for the global education company Pearson for almost 13 years in a variety of disciplines including client services, management, communications, and in Chief of Staff roles for Global Customer Service and Global Operations. In 2022, she left Pearson to focus on her family (including caring for her aging in-laws), and to volunteer in the community. Erin also does part-time business consulting and event planning.
Most of Erin’s best friends at Mullen were MPB alumni, so she’s long been aware of MPB’s reputation for having a vibrant community and a track record of developing graduates who thrive academically and professionally.
As HASA President, Erin aims to build on MPB’s strong foundation, strengthening and growing the community for an even brighter future. One of her goals is to ensure that every family feels seen, heard, welcomed, and included at MPB.
Jenny Rosenbaugh
Jenny and her husband, Bryan, have two children – Annie (1st grade) and Sam in room 2 at the ELC.
Originally from San Diego, Jenny moved to Denver in 2012. She’s a strong believer in Catholic education, having attended a Catholic school from 2nd grade all the way through college at Creighton, and grad school at University of San Diego! She worked as a RN in oncology followed by 10 years working in primary care as a Nurse Practitioner. She’s taking a bit of a break from healthcare and deciding what to do next. Jenny is excited to get more involved at MPB and give back to a school that is giving so much to her children.
As HASA VP, Jenny would love to create more opportunities for parents and students to come together to build an even stronger community. She believes that if we come together, we can make MPB better than ever!
Amir Alrubaiy
Amir grew up in northeastern Ohio and studied philosophy at Kent State University. He got out of there as soon as he could and spent his early 20’s skiing competitively in Summit County.
He eventually left the mountains to pursue degrees in Landscape Architecture and Architecture. After a number of years practicing in Denver, he took a teaching position in the College of Architecture and Planning at CU Denver, where he taught for over a decade.
Amir and his wife Nicole are parents to Ollie (5H) and Ava (3D). They recently purchased Axistence Athletics, a strength and conditioning gym in Southeast Denver, where Amir is also a personal trainer.
Amir is happy to serve as HASA Past President this year, and he’s as excited as ever to see the flourishing of our MPB community.
