At MPB, we believe our school community is strongest when families share their time, talents, ideas, and enthusiasm. HASA (Home and School Association) is a great way to connect with other families, support our teachers and students, and help make MPB events and initiatives special.
This year, we are creating event- and initiative-specific committees so that families can get involved in ways that work best for them. You don’t have to attend every HASA meeting or commit to volunteering all year long. Whether you can help with one event, serve on a committee, take on a leadership role, or simply have an idea to share, there is a place for you!
Our current HASA committees and volunteer opportunities include:
Teacher Appreciation – Help us celebrate and support our teachers and staff throughout the year, including monthly “Stock the Lounge” events and Teacher Appreciation Week.
First Friday Coffees – Help organize coffee and pastries after First Friday Mass and create opportunities for parents to connect.
Annual Fund – Help with planning, communication, and outreach for this important school fundraiser.
Gala – Help plan and coordinate our annual Gala, a special evening for our MPB community and an important fundraising event.
School Events – Help coordinate and support school-wide events throughout the year.
Faith in Action – Help create opportunities for students and families to live out our Catholic call to service.
Fall Fest – Help plan and coordinate this fun community-building event.
Lead Room Parents – Help facilitate communication between the school and families and coordinate grade-level volunteers and activities.
School Supplies – Help coordinate our school supply ordering process through EPI.
We would love to have you! If you are interested in joining a committee, helping with an event, or learning more about volunteer opportunities, please reach out to Katlyn Steffen.
