Q: Do you have a fixed menu for the week? How do I know what's coming my way?
A: At this time, we are aiming to provide healthy home cooked meal just like what you or your spouse would make at home. Our one order of food contains 4 Chapatis, 16 Oz. daal or usal (protein), 16 Oz. sabji (fruit or leafy vegetable bhaji), 16 Oz Rice (or variety thereof) + Raita/Salad/Side item.
Do you ever miss "आज डब्यात काय आहे?" nostalgic childhood memories. We want to bring back some of that (good) surprise and happiness back to families we serve food to. Of course, you can see sample menu items and photos on our website in each of these categories. (sample menu)
We try and fix the menu every week and want to give you full visibility ahead of time before you order. But based on seasonal and local availability of fresh vegetables things can change last minute. We appreciate your flexibility in advance. All these items are our Maharashtrian favorites and comfort food that we grew up eating every day, so even if things change, we know you will love the item in your dabba.
What we guarantee is, we will not repeat items during the week, and you will be licking your fingers every time you finish your meal waiting for the next dabba. Are you still asking what's on the menu next week? LOL.
Q: Do you do À-la-carte?
A: We are starting the pilot with complete healthy meal. We are always listening to feedback so we may offer that in the future. But at this time, there is no option to selectively only order daal or subji.
ORDER RELATED
Q: What’s the order cut-off and why?
A: Orders for next week close Thursday 5:00 PM. We have a cut off day/time because we need exact count of orders before the weekend for grocery planning and prep for next week.
Q: Do you take same-day orders?
A: Not right now. We cook to plan so everything stays fresh.
Q: Is there a minimum order?
A: Yes. One order = Generally sufficient for 2 people (or 2+ times for 1 person)
Q: Will I get an order confirmation?
A: Yes - an email receipt immediately after placing an order and another confirmation email late Thursday or Friday with amount ($) due. Returning customers can use their Customer ID to speed up future orders.
Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: Yes. But please know that we are not a restaurant. We plan a week ahead for a reason. If you cancel last minute, it can seriously disrupt our plans and cause food wastage, which we want to avoid. In case of unavoidable circumstances, please REPLY stating cancel within 24 hrs. to " Your order for week..." summary email which states your order and $ obligation for next week. You generally get that summary email on Friday before the delivery week. Your understanding in this matter is much appreciated. Generally, that means that we lock our meal plans on Saturday prior for cooking and delivery for next week.
Q: Can I change my order?
A: If you forgot to add a day or need extra orders on a particular day, just put an additional (new) order. We will summarize all your orders by end of Thursday cut off time. For canceling the order, please see above.
Q: Can I order for someone else (gift a meal)?
A: Yes. While ordering online please clearly state that this order is for your guest and to be delivered at a different address than your own. Please add their name, address, and any entry instructions in “Comments.” Please note that any order(s) for the day for any particular customer will be delivered to one address ONLY. Either that address is your own address (the one making the payment, Normal order) or you specifically mention someone else's address in the "comments section. (Guest order) We expect Guest Orders to be paid in advance.
Q: Community/assisted-living bulk orders?
A: Yes. We can coordinate group drop-offs. Contact us for details.
PAYMENT RELATED
Q: What does the price include?
A: EVERYTHING. This is getting fresh, healthy home cooked Marathi Meal at home. All you have to do is open the container and start eating. Fresh EVERY DAY. Remember how much you pay in taxes, fees, delivery charges, tips and your own time driving back and forth if you are getting something from the restaurant. We take care of all of that for you plus it's the food you cannot get anywhere else. Guaranteed!

Q: Do you accept tips?
A: Tips are always appreciated but never expected.
Q: Do you offer refunds or credits?
A: If something isn’t right, write or text us within 24 hours—we’ll make it right with a replacement or credit.
Q: Do you store my information?
A: We keep your contact info to fulfill deliveries and never share it.
Q: Do you offer subscriptions or weekly plans?
A: We’re piloting one-off weekly orders now; subscriptions may follow.
DELIVERY RELATED
Q: What areas do you deliver to?
A: Generally, within 15–20-mile radius of O'Fallon, MO area. Ask if you’re unsure.
Q: Can I pick up the order myself?
A: At this time, no. If things change in the future (after our Pilot phase) we will let you know. If you have any feedback do not hesitate to let us know.
Q: What if I’m not home?
A: Tell us a safe handoff option (front desk, neighbor, cooler on porch) in Comments ahead of time.
Q: What’s the delivery window?
A: Generally late afternoon to early evening (5-7PM) the day of. We are not Grubhub or Uber Eats :-) So we will appreciate your kindness when it comes to MMOW meal ❤️
Q: What happens in severe weather?
A: We’ll text/email updates or changes. We have family too, so safety first. We hope you understand.

Q: Allergies or strict preferences?
A: We’re vegetarian only. Note allergies and preferences in “Comments.” While we’re careful, cross-contact is possible in-home kitchens.
Q: Do you cook without onion/garlic (Jain-friendly)?
A: Please add it in “Comments” - we’ll confirm availability. It is not guaranteed.
Q: Can I request less oil/salt?
A: Yes - note it in “Comments.” We keep flavors mild by default.
Q: How is the food packaged?
A: Sealed, microwave-safe containers. Please refrigerate within 2 hours.
Q: Reheating instructions?
A: Microwave 60–90 sec per container (stir halfway). Chapatis: 10–15 sec each.
