Mineral Point runs a care closet for our student-community. The care closet provides an opportunity for students and families to utilize donations to help reduce any potential barriers they may be facing.  The care closet focuses hygiene prodcuts.  If you are in need of clothing, school suppies, or food items please reach out to a member of the pupil service team.  

Hygiene Items Include: Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Floss, Shampoo, Conditioner, Bodywash, Soap, Lotion, Deordorant, Chapstick, Sanitary Napkins, Tampons, Hair Combs/Brushes, and Laundry Detergent 

If you or your business would like to make a donation to the care closet, you may order from our Amazon Wish List and your donation can be sent directly to the school. 

Heating Fuel Assistance through Iowa County Social Services 

- Helps eligible low-income households pay for winter energy services.

Public Service Commision of Wiscsonsin

There are a variety of programs available in Wisconsin to help households pay for and obtain access to basic utility, telecommunications, and internet services (Website) 

Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP)

- assists eligible households with their heating and electric bills. It is funded by the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the ​​​Public Benefits (PB) program (Website)

A non-profit, donation based organization that provides clothes, household items, food, etc.
