All costumes are rentals from Movement on Main. Please treat your costume with care. If one costume is lost or damaged, it usually means replacing all of the costumes of that style/set.
Each female dancer needs a nude leotard to wear under their costume and boys can wear their white leotard.
No eating or drinking is permitted while in costume, with the exception of water.
All costumes must stay at Secrest Auditorium during dress rehearsals and shows.
The following policies are in place to prevent any lost or damaged costumes and to ensure all costume pieces and accessories are available for all casts.
For all Rehearsals and Performances:
The costume crew will transport all costumes to Secrest and costumes will remain at Secrest through all rehearsals and performances. Costumes will not be taken home at anytime.
Costumes that are removed from the basement or not returned to their designated area will be charged a $50 locating fee. Many costumes are used during multiple shows for multiple dancers. Removing a costume could mean another student may not have a costume.
Procedure for Little Stars, Kinder, Primary, Foundations, Club, and Academy.
Following every dress rehearsal and performance, check the costume back in with the chaperone and hang the costume in it’s designated area for the next performer.
QUICK CHANGE POLICY:
Students will be notified if they have a quick change that needs to be done backstage.
Only designated backstage crew are permitted backstage for quick changes.
PHOTOS IN COSTUME FOLLOWING THE PERFORMANCE:
Following each performance, family and friends may enter the basement for photos with students in costume.
