Second semester smart goal:
My goal this semester is to move my vocab up to a mid seventh or higher grade level. I will track this goal by looking at my grades and seeing how they change. This goal is attainable because I can already do early seventh and learning more every day. This is meaningful because I want my grades to improve and vocab is a big part of that. I want to finish this goal by the end of the year.

Evolution of story telling
The most important thing I learned this year is about the evolution of storytelling because we got to see how much it evolved over the years. Humans tell stories because it is a good way to share fun stories about yourself. Story telling has evolved from just talking around a campfire to writing books and the invention of the print and press made that process much faster. Eventually people acted it out and did theatre until someone figured out about electric and magnetic waves to make a radio. Finally people created motion pictures and electro magnetic waves to make movies. Stories matter because it is a way to put yourself in someone` s shoes and connect with people.
