Every week or so we have a new journal prompt were we have to write a short essay on what ever the prompt was, with three examples of show don't tell sentences.

In this we had to create an info graphic on the boarding school Cal is going to and stuff about the school.

In this assignment we wrote a letter to Cal a main character in a read aloud we did in class to support him and going threw his tough times in the great depression.

I did a comic strip of the ending of the book. I feel like I used effort because I was out of town that day and had to finish it in the car.

We won because we practiced and researched a lot. Also  Jaxson had a good rebuttal and elan brought up a very relatable main point. I feel like I did a lot of refinement and made sure are information wasn't false or easy to argue against. 

The hardest part of this was the second evidence and the example because I was not prepared for it.

The easiest part for me was the intro because I just had to copy and paste from the pre debate sheet, It was also easy because I was the one that wrote the intro. 

What I would recommend to a future sixth grader is to put an extra evidence and example in the pre debate sheet
