This quiz was about the basics of atoms like electrons, protons, neutrons, atom shells, and valance electrons. I got a meets because I answered most of the questions correctly. I would like to improve my grade to an exceeds by answering all questions correctly and doing some extra credit.
The second chemistry quiz was similar to the first, but had more questions about physical changes, chemical reactions, ionic bonds, and covalent bonds. This test was slightly more advanced and complicated than the first, but still relatively simple. I got an 8 out of 8 because I knew the material to this quiz from our previous lessons. I would like to do extra credit in the future if the option is available to increase my grade further.
This anchor chart is an accumulation of all we have learned in science. This is a presentation to prove we understand the material and to show what we came away with from every lesson. My anchor chart has not been graded yet but I suspect it will be a meets because I included all the necessary information but I failed to include the extra credit material. I hope to get a grade that shows I exceeded the standard on the next anchor chart to show my growth along the year. I will include lots of extra detail and maybe include a written variant/extension piece with bonus information.
The final chemistry test for this unit was an overview of everything we have learned so far. I got a 37 out of 37 because I knew the material from previous projects. I did not study, I just paid attention in class as much as I could. I would like to maintain this high standard in the next test by continuing to pay attention and study if necessary.
"I can apply my understanding of the structure and properties of matter by professionally demonstrating a chemical reaction and explaining how it occurs verbally, visually and in writing." I feel that I have met this learning target because i have a m
