Project Overview
There are 7 elements of art: line, value, shape, color, texture, form and space.
These elements make up every art piece we see. Artists use variations of each element in order to create a specific mood, feeling or message within their work. Students were asked to create a piece of art that uses all 7 elements. In order to be marked complete, they had to describe how they used each one, and why they used it in the way that they did. Questions to consider were: What message are you trying to convey and how does each element help you do so? What mood or feeling are you trying to create?
