We took some starbursts, and cut them up, mashed together, heated by magma, pressured and heated by iron, and repeated.
We took two gram crackers and dipped them into water and smashed them together. This represented how the plates moved and the effect of them caliding.
In this earth rocks topic, I feel that I’ve done well at knowing the cycle of the earth’s rocks, and how they go through a long process and repeat after years and years of process. I understand that pebbles go through a cycle of being mashed together to make sedimentary rocks, gets heated by magma, pressured and heated. And then finally, it repeats. This is a long cycle that takes many years, and can make a big difference.
This in mine and Brigham's donation website, One Tree Planted.
My understanding of environmental issues evolved because I now know how much is going on, and now know how I can possibly help this situation. I can now save more trees because if I eat less meat, there will be less need for giant cattle farms, and cattle farms are the main reason that deforestation happens. I think that the strength that I had with this project was doing the research, and presenting, because I know how to do this over the school year. The hardest part of this was assembling the slideshow, because it takes so much effort, and organizing, just to put it together. I now know how to use the teamwork that I used with this project. I learned that I should use my friend’s advice as often as possible. This will be useful in the future to help make new things. I feel that Brigham and I have put in a lot of effort, and worked really well together. I am so proud of him and I, and how we presented so fluently, and raised so much money for our fundraiser, called, “One Tree Planted” Mine, and Brigham’s action plan was to raise money for the website, “One Tree Planted”. This went really good and me and Brigham have raised a total of $229. So please, donate a dollar, just so the number can be even.
