I am the English Language (EL) Teacher at Turtle Lake Elementary. This will be my 10th year of teaching and I am so excited to continue working with our multilingual learners! 

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and ESL Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my Master's degree in Literacy Education at Hamline University. I am passionate about equity and culturally responsive teaching. It is my goal to make every student feel included in the learning environment.

My hobbies include spending time with my dog Franklin, traveling with my fiancé Sam, hiking, playing tennis, reading, and visiting with friends and family. I especially love walking around our beautiful Minnesota lakes!
