Krispen Lam has spent over 30 years working in both public and private libraries. When her two children began attending Island Lake School in the early 2000s, it was only natural that she volunteered in the school library. She loved it so much that she came to work at the Snail Lake Library when it opened in 2014.
Mrs. Lam's favorite book in kindergarten was Blueberries for Sal because she thought it was written about her (even though her name isn't Sal). Her favorite books in the Snail Lake Library are Chalk by Bill Thompson, and the Zoey and Sassafras series. She also secretly enjoys the Pigeon books by Mo Williams even though she doesn't approve of Pigeon's behavior.
The best part of Mrs. Lam's job is helping kids find their own favorite books in our library.
