Meetings are Wednesday Afternoons
Economics Challenge is a multi-event competition in which students learn and apply economic concepts beyond what is taught in the AP Macro and AP Micro courses. If you enjoyed either of these classes and want to learn more about economics, Econ Challenge is for you!
Compete in teams of four and apply economic concepts to tests, quiz bowl, and case studies. Our club has a history of being extremely competitive on the national level almost since its creation in 2011.
Mustang Economics Tournament (MET): Our annual section event in November. Click here for more information (Outdated).
Northwestern Economics Tournament: These prestigious pre-collegiate competitions are known for being very fun - we get to travel to cities like Evanston and Chicago to compete against the best teams in the nation.
National Economics Challenge: win the state tournament (MV 11x champion) to advance to the national level and compete for the chance to win prize money.
