Literacy
Reading:
We are going to read for the love of reading this week. We’ll work with stop and jots to note our thinking as we read.
Writing:
Nonfiction Writing: Expert Book
This week we will finish up publishing and then share and celebrate our hard work.
Word Study:
We’re cruising through cursive! We’ll start “C stroke” cursive letters this week. We’ll learn c, o, a, and d.
Math
We’re working on our STEAM project this week - designing a water park! We will work on our budget, water supply, and little kid section.
Unit Studies
We’re starting our last big unit - Ancient Civilizations! We’ll wrap up our unit with the geography of 3 ancient civilizations.
