Meet Your Teacher!

My name is Alex Peterson, and I teach 7th grade Language Arts teacher. 

I want to take this opportunity to tell you a bit about myself.  I graduated from University of Northwestern, St. Paul, and I have been teaching at Highview for 10 years.  I grew up with 5 younger siblings in South St. Paul.  I now live with my husband who is also a teacher.  Last, I have two beautiful boys!

In my free time, I love to travel, typically camping or road tripping! Whether I am sleeping in a tent or at a resort, anything I can learn or do is exciting to me.  I also love anything related to being active, especially volleyball.  In addition, I enjoy seeing musicals and reading.  Last, with having such a large family, I absolutely love spending time with them!  I love being with my siblings, along with my adorable nieces and nephew.
