This will be my 6th year teaching at Mother Seton School. My background in education is centered around Early Childhood. I have a Master's Degree from Shippensburg University in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as, a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I previously taught at Woodmont Academy in Cooksville, Md where I began their first Pre-K3 program, and was a Kindergarten Aide prior to that. I remained in the Pre-K3 position for three years, until the school closed. Before joining Mother Seton School, I taught at Celebree School in Westminster, Md for 9+ years where I was a Pre-K 4 Teacher, and a Kindergarten Readiness Teacher. For the past five years here at Mother Seton School, I have had the privilege of working with Pre-K 3 and Pre-K4 students. I am excited to begin a new year, and work with our Pre-K4 friends to help prepare them for Kindergarten.
Currently, I live in Gettysburg, Pa with my husband, 14 year-old daughter, and my dog, named Willow. Some of my hobbies include traveling, reading, shopping and spending time with family and friends. My favorite place to escape is at the beach. I love hearing the sounds of the ocean and feeling the warm ocean breeze.
I truly enjoy spending time with young children, helping them to learn and grow. It excites me the most, when I see a young child master something that they have not been able to do, and they are so excited to do it for the first time! I love having the opportunity to help shape young people, and being there to guide them in the right direction in their daily lives. I am so excited to be a part of the Mother Seton School Community!
