The Morris Area Pre-Kindergarten offers three different scholarship opportunities for families to get tuition support for their Pre-Kindergarten student(s). These include Pathway I & II scholarships along with our Morris Area Community Education scholarship. Details, information, and forms are provided below.
Pathway I scholarships are awarded directly to families who meet eligibility requirements. Pathway I scholarship funds are paid to the early childhood program that the family chooses. You may use your Pathway I Early Learning Scholarship at any eligible child care or early education program in Minnesota that is participating in Parent Aware. Pathway I scholarships “follow the child” and are awarded to the family for up to 12 months. To apply for this scholarship complete the form below and return in one of the following ways:

Pathway II scholarships are awarded to families through Four-Star Parent Aware Rated programs that have Pathway II funding. Morris Ares Pre-Kindergarten program is a 4 Star rated program and can award eligible children with scholarship funding. Pathway II scholarships “stay with the program” if the child leaves for any reason and are awarded to the family for up to 12 months. Morris Area Community Education scholarships are awarded to families through the Morris Area Pre-Kindergarten program based on families who qualify for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Families qualifying for Free Lunch will receive a 50% reduction in their monthly Pre-K tuition payment. Families qualifying for Reduced Lunch will receive a 35% reduction in their monthly Pre-K tuition payment.
