ABOUT ME
After graduating from KMS High School in 2004, I attended the University of Minnesota, Duluth where I received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Teaching Life Science and Teaching Physical Science. In the fall of 2009, I began teaching at Morris Area High School. Some of my favorite hobbies include coaching and watching football (specifically, watching the Minnesota Vikings win and the Green Bay Packers lose), hunting, fishing, gaming, and spending time with my wife, Brooke, my daughters, Lucy and Mina, and our two pups, Diggs and Conan.
MISSION FOR THE CLASS
I believe that every student has the ability to achieve whatever they put their mind to. I strongly feel that, as a teacher, my ultimate goal is not only to provide students with science content, but to prepare them for what's ahead...after they leave our building. Throughout this school year, students will be challenged with the opportunity to engage in both individual and group exercises. In doing so, they will explore and question a wide variety of scientific phenomena - with the ultimate goal of better understanding why things are the way they are and being able to relate science to just about every imaginable aspect of the world around them.
