My family:
My husband and I live just outside of Herman on a farm with our son Kipton, daughter Josie, son Graham, and dog Maverick. You will get to know Kip, Josie, and Graham very well this year. I have lots of stories to tell about the three of them. Kip just turned seven and loves everything about life on the farm, sports, and is the best big brother. He will be in First grade this year. Josie is four and a half and has quite the personality. She adores her brothers. You can find her anywhere Kip is and she is miss "mother hen" when it comes to Graham. She will be in preschool this year. Graham just turned three this summer. He has adjusted to the third child role very well, we consider him our wild child. He is following in his brothers footsteps and loves farm life. You can find him riding anything that moves, especially those big green tractors. Tyler works for Midwest Machinery and helps his dad and uncle with the family farm.
About Me:
I grew up in Brainerd, MN. I went to college in Duluth at The College of St. Scholastica where I received my degree in Education and played softball. After college, I taught Head Start for eight months before taking a 4th grade teaching position in Wadena. I taught 4th grade in Wadena for three years until my husband and I moved to Herman. I taught in Wheaton for five years, two in 6th, one in 4th, and two in 5th. This will be my 6th year teaching in Morris, year fourteen in the teaching world!
I enjoy being outside, going for walks, delivering meals to the field during harvest and planting season, growing a garden, canning, flowers, all things crafty, and antique shopping. Things that I cherish more than anything is time with family and friends. Our three kids keep me busy and on my toes. We are always looking for a new adventure to take. This summer has been one of the best ones yet with my kiddos.
I am beyond excited to be in 4th grade again this year. I can't wait to meet you. We have lots of fun, hard work, and learning ahead of us.
